Willow House with Nanci....Make-n-Take Day
Welcome to Make-n-Take Day
Willow House with Nanci
Ten wonderful ladies came to enjoy the afternoon and design their own Welcome Willow House Basket!
Here's Emily, Ann, Janice and Gina all figuring out which branches to use.
Gina is soooo sweet! She's making this one for a friend to welcome her into her 60's! oooohhhh I don't want to have THAT basket anytime soon!
This was definitely not a sit-down type of job! Heck it was hard to hold up the baskets while trying to decorate them.
Janice is very excited about her Welcome basket!
OOOOO pretty,.....{love} the orange Emily!

60's...it's coming whether or not we want it to! I hope someone is kind to me and sends me a basket!
Telle's Basket....wait is that her in the background? She sort of blends in!
Almost newlywed, Meredith preps her new home with her first door bucket! Meredith, love your color choices too.....very trendy!
Lynn matches her basket it too...... and it wasn't even a requirement! So pretty!
WOW, Michelle! Took that basket right home and up it went...See you don't have to use a front door basket for the front door!
Wendy, so pretty...love your color choices too. The lilac and cream contrast with your black front door. Very, very nice.
PS..thank you for sharing your willow tree with us!
Ten area homes are now adorned with Welcome Willow Baskets!
I think our Make-n-Take day was a huge success!
Many more tutorials to come!

Played a Little in the Rain
Awe...isn't she cute?
Now of course you need to write a message on the chalkboard plaque. I recommend using chalk ink. You can find these at your local craft store back in the art section.
Don't be surprised if the clerk doesn't know what you are talking about...my Michael's didn't.
They come in an assortment of colors; I prefer white.
and no.....I wasn't in a sorority...
OK, so remember the post about the willow branches my friend gave me?
I am going to put them to good use.
I cut them about 1.5 as high as the basket. However, rule of thumb is double the height.
I slowly added some color to the willow branches with some faux flowers I found in my bins in the garage. If you would like to use real flowers, just use Ziploc bags to hold your fresh flowers.
More color and arranging....
My mission.....to adorn our "Willow Welcome Basket" to doors all over America!
Wouldn't it be neat if front doors were all so welcoming?
Best of all, the basket is only $29.96....great price!
Come on in!
